well valve need some next level genius to create a ladder that can handle 6.5million users and over 6 regions is gone be some long ass ladder if they did do 1.
What they should do already is
1. Implement a damn good Match making and ladder syster ffs...
2. Wipe out levels and stats to start all over again properly

Does it seem like your rating is frozen? It is possible the "hide the brackets things" was so they could experiment.

TL;DR More time has been spent on features in Dota2 then on the core in Dota2....it needs work.

JESUS CHRiST YOSHI, stop playing Lina, you aren't winning with her! You also have massive loss streaks I noticed, thats like a friend of mine but then went on a 8-9 game win streak.
Honestly I feel like im getting better players when I solo queue and worse players when I duo queue (obviously that's cause my mmr is higher than my friends but still) like really really awful duo quoing experiences, really really pleasant solo queueing experiences.
Whatever Valve decides to do, they better not pull something stupid like Netflix did with qwikster.
Heh Canadian, it's true im getting some massive losses there but still, im impressed on how usually the player base in my (and on many others after the patch) games is.

only god knows what they are going to do..we can just hope they do it fast, as some posts ago relentless said (correct me if im wrong) the numbers of monthly players seem to be already in decline..
Matchmaking I think is only really truly awful at the high end. I get matches with terrible players, but they usually end quick, then I get ok players and we win, sometimes lose closely. It's rare there's a truly awful game.

Title picture implies team matching is "fkingbad"...maybe not intentional? Article calls for a ladder system.
Judging by the 1000 to 1 ratio of regular pub games to team matching games...I have to conclude that so far it is a miserable failure. The primary reason team matching has failed is the hidden rating making it impossible to find good players for a team other than the accident of "Oh we just happened to play with this guy and he is good."
