    But this is more interesting!

Look at this games, I played the second one right after the first one finished.

The first game is in Very High skill bracket, while the second one is in Normal, as you can see. You may think: "Ok, you and your stack friend just got low-skilled people with you, so you were sent to Normal bracket for that game". But here's the catch:

Both matches I played with the same people in my team, we were 5-man stacking. So, how did the MMR mathematics work for this one?

You get moved up/down a bracket if a match cannot be found within your bracket in a reasonable amount of time. It's actually pretty common.

Really? Damn, I wasn't expecting the answer to be so simple...the other team's guys are also people who frequently land into VH games though. Except for the Lina player. Did she and the Sven guy ruin the game for the others then?

Depending on how long the matchmaking takes it becomes less and less picky in picking you a game. Since you were 5 man stacking it becomes impossible for the matchmaking to try to normalize the MMR on your side of the team, so eventually in very long queue times it is possible to find a team much much worse or much much better than your real elo. Your stack may be very high skill but depending on the time of day it might have had to get some people on the other team who were poor -- and since the "bracket" is determined not by averaging the MMRs of the players, but after the game finishes you get a normal game.

          Terrible

MM is trash yo. In the space of 6 matches I play with allies that combine for a score of 0-38 in the High bracket that were brainless fuckheads, to playing against a 4 stack that included this guy http://dotabuff.com/players/129606815

Also note that Singsing solo queued into a normal bracket match just a month ago, and a player with 1 game played (won), ended up in the same match as dendi.

Hmmm. Well, that explains a lot. Thanks for the answers guys!

                  there's another explanation
the way the replay search function works is based on average player's MMR
it doesn't take stacks into consideration at all

but that's not how MM works
matchmaking first of all tries to create equal structures of both teams, which isn't always possible in a timely fashion

so your 5 stack is probably somewhere in high according to your average player's MMR
when you 5 stack each players MMR get's a bonus (only for the sake of matching accordingly and only for the duration of the process to match the teams)
on the other team you probably have higher rated players on average but they are not nearly as stacked
that means to compensate for the advantage of a 5 player stack their average player's MMR are higher, high enough to push the game into very high
in the normal game you probably just faced a 5 man stack with low average rating which is thereby inflating their MMR as a stack but not their average player's MMR
in addition to that the game could have been on the border of what the system considers to be fair
