Add me and we can talk. I'll be at my computer later today. I'm USW, not sure of your definition of VHS but I am looking to improve as well. (I play on/near front page sometimes vs pros, am over 2k dbr, etc). I have a small amount of competitive experience in dota1 and CS 1.6 and I definitely WANT to be critiqued on my play. I play 1,2,3 roles, and am down to focus on a role thats best for the team.
edit: I'm also a pretty good drafter... very rarely lose IH's even if teams are uneven

@Cold World I added you. By VHS I mean Very High Skill level which is determined by the ingame watch filter, which is really the only accurate thing right now.

This does sound like an interesting post. If you're unable to fill the position by Friday, I wouldn't mind giving the place a trial. This week is very busy for me (as my car is in the garage and to get to and from my training school is difficult), however I have the entirety of next week as a 'reading week' (off from University). I however am unfortunately from EUW, so if LAN was to be a regular commitment, I will not be who you are looking for (I can play in US with ping ~100ms).
About me: former team leader of 4 strong British DotA 1 clans (wNMw, SHpD, BSoD and iiN). I have represented Britain in the 2008 Dota Masters Cup and have since been the part of a very highly skilled clan included such players as: Balsam, Calculus, Nethouse.Chris and Kwom (this was back in 2009). I came 4th in the dota-league player of the week and converted to a dota-league admin in late 2009 early 2010. Since 2010 I have played casually and taken my studies seriously - it would be nice to play again.

Played 2 games with this guy. Not sure if he's Capt. material. reason(s):
1) Plays mid.. doesn't call miss, he has mic.
2) no rune control doesn't enforce allies to get them either.
3) no coordination watsoever etc..
conclusion: casual player who wants stacked team.

Hi, I'm Gremlyn (Team Capt.) We are looking for a Very High Skilled player to join our team. The player has to be intimately familiar with the Hard Carry (#1) or Off-laner (#3) position. About us: Although we have yet to compete in Dota2 as a team, our members have all held positions in the competitive scene (in one or more games). All except me have played Dota1 at a semi pro level and SC2 at the level or Masters. I, on the other hand, come from a competitive shooter background, having played Counter-Strike in both CAL-I and CPL-M for multiple seasons. We are interested in a player that has some kind of competitive background, so that they handle critiques on play and what-not. All the members of the team are in their mid 20's (22-25), and we are looking for someone around the same age. It's partly because of maturity, but mainly we are looking for someone that can control his / her on schedule more so than someone younger would be able to.
