Since patch on january 25th every players match history sharing is turned off by default. You have to manually turn it on in the options. There is huge number of players who have no idea such thing has happened. And such players are displayed as anonymous on dotabuff.
It's funny. Your actual Steam account by default is public and anyone can read the info you put on there, but they make Dota 2 and say "PEOPLE NEED PRIVACY AND THEREFORE THEIR INFO SHOULD NOT BE PUBLIC BY DEFAULT".

I noticed in almost all my match histories, every player except me would be "Anonymous", even if they're on my friends list.
Is this a privacy setting on the other player's ends (not showing match history) or is DB slowly losing the amount of information they're able to grab?
