Here's why the hero needed a nerf. He needed a nerf because the hero was strong and almost required that you have certain heroes to counter him. No hero should make it almost a guarenteed loss if you don't have one of the counters. Therefore, nerf the thing that makes the hero require certain heroes, make it so that more heroes can deal with him. I agree that he may have gotten nerfed too hard but I think that the problem isn't the stun nerf but rather the additional nerfs on top of that one.

The no manacost in atribute change was op af and now they changed something that was with morphling in all his “life” in dota
I agree. They made it OP And then nerfed it completely With a change in the entire concept by removing attribute shift on stun.
i believe the only way to make morph works again is by adding like lv 15 or 20 talent "morph can still be use while stunned"

Like i said, kids will crying for nerf and spam it on forum because their 5 carry 1 jungler strats just get wrecked by single morph
Since i always use support shaman or riki,i have no problemo against morph.But since it on sea, everyone pick 5 carry with low health

It's a bit less of whining, and more of being dumbfounded on the kind of nerf that completely kills off a hero. Because no, they couldn't have gone back to give the shift a manacost, or lower the rates, instead of admitting their imbalanced "zero mana, extreme rate" changes, they have to nerf the mechanism itself.
That would also require them to admit they made a mistake.
Now we can sit back and wait the time they will decide to bring him back too, after he'll be sitting on the top 10 worst winrate heroes for a long time.
i mean there is a reason you build fucking linkens. the hero now needs some skill to play, and is not braindead levels of easy.

i dont know how people say its nerfed ... his main ability (shifting agi/str) doesnt need mana any more, means if u are not hard countered by mana burners ... that ult is stronger now imao

Complaining or not is not the issue here, the fact is that it was a huge nerf, and that the hero immediately disappeared from pro meta indefinitely.
I don't think he's completely dead, but more of a last pick when the enemy team doesn't have many lockdowns
I think Morphling can still be playable but you need to play it like weaver

Also you cant have less than 900HP because everyone will destroy you, goodbye 400hp early Morphling.
thats the point, if you dont have specific heroes (instant stun) for him you wont kill him early game, mid game and eventually late game as he gets fed.
Also a Invoker with good timing can instakill Morph, tornado and sunstrike
it doesn't give you time to change your atributes

Or is it? because i tested right now and if an ALLY OD astrals you, then you cant use atribute shift, that's getting stunned by a teammate?

Everyone knows that he is dead against the most of the heros in the game, shaman and lion will instakill, invoker with a good timing with tornado and sunstrike too, sven will 3 hits with his combo, we have like 120 heros and like 50 or more are morphling counters now.
I just want to know what the community in here thinks about it
