One of the most consistent ways to get an earlier shop for a pos 5 early is suicide. Expend all of your resources burning the enemy's regen and harass further if possible. Once you're oom and possibly low, die to their T2. Tell your carry before death so they buy their items and drop at base. Grab their stuff, buy your items and tp back.
Ooo this is great advice thanks! I've only thought dieing in the early game was a form of coming back with full HP/MP.
I put my wards etc on the courier but don't send the courier out to me, I only use it after a core who's in a similar area of the map to me uses it. That way you can also let your mid take the wards if they want one for mid.

I'm more than willing to let my offlane/Mid use the courier for their items as I'm generally playing defensive support while also buying a ton of sustaining items for my safelane carry to farm safely but I need my wards. Especially before the 5 min mark but I'm rarely able to do so when everyone is shipping out salves & clarities. How do you guys plan out your first 5 mins of courier use? Because for me it's always been a mess.
