Amazing TI, horrible crowd. Even in my country Bangladesh, we'd have better crowd than this
I enjoyed being able to watch at my own timezone, but I’d gladly trade night hours for a better crowd. As long as we retain the level of Dota, because the level of this year’s games was the best of all time
The crowd was silent with OG won lol
but it was very hard for me to watch live.
The grand finals were boring but that doesn't have anything to with it being in China, but please don't host it in China again, whenever LGD got knocked out the majority, Chinese crowd, stopped caring.
The time zone was garbage. Way too early in the day for anyone with a functioning life. Middle of the night in Americas, small hours of the morning in Europe. Only people who could watch it easily were East Asians.

They did a little bit cheered for them but it's because they have no choice there are no Chinese team left.
They respected the final game and they also cheered for the amazing performance of OG. Chinese admitted they hate OG due to the chat wheel. However, they never denied OG was not worthy for this champion.

American, British and SEA crowds cheer the most for both teams(with the exception of Americans chanting USA, USA), however the Chinese crowd literally booed some teams. Very unprofessional and unsportsmanlike

Actually lets retrace this slightly cause what has any of this got to do with the fact that the crowd were biased and shitty. Whether or not they were racist isnt even relevant actually the point is that 95% of the crowd were biased towards chinese teams and there is no other country in the world where you could host the international and have such a biased crowd. The FACT is that China is essentially a homogeneous society and is difficult for people to travel too and is therefore unfit to host multi-cultural international tournaments.

Watching the crowd after OG won was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen in a ‘sports’ event. Never seen such a boring lukewarm response in my life. Maybe it would be wise if Valve could host an INTERNATIONAL in a country which isnt homogeneous and xenophobic.
