tbh spamming a hero to a certain extent can help you understand the game what results in an increase of skill
but if you just ask if it can get you to a higher bracket , i dont think so cause its bound to hidden mmr etc

im a 2k scrub player and tbh i dont know how i reach hs bracket but i know that i can play at least 3k mmr with pos 3 4 and 5. i want to maintain that hs bracket of mine

jsut improve and play ranked games the argument "the team holds me back" doesnt count
if youre better than the bracket ur in u will rise in long term

I have seen one friend with VHS before calibration but spamming one hero finally made him fall under HS (crusader)

Just try to have fun while playing u will get gud and raise in time

daibzer these idiots are asking if the graph & the versatility stat on it have an impact on the level of the games you're playing.

The graph in Dota2 has no impact whatsoever on the level of your game... Plenty of incredible support players have the smallest graph you'll ever see yet retain 60/65% winrates in immortal ranks.

There's a factor called uncertainty that depends on KDR/XPM/GPM relevant to the level of the game. So if you have abnormal stats for normal skilled games > you rise to HS ; if you have abnormal stats in HS games > you rise to VHS.

Whereas once the uncertainty has reduced under a certain threshold it doesn't matter anymore -- only wins/losses count.

Calibration is the only place where uncertaintly matters ~25 normal games usually is enough.
For ranked they only need 10 games because they're basing it off a mix of your previous rank & your hidden mmr.

So to make it fucking simple enough for retards:

#1 : first 20-30 games play like it's your life on the line & win em all & have good stats (gpm/xpm/kda)
#2 : try to finish games earlier if you're ahead (higher winrate) and time seems to be a factor
#3 : after that any role you pick & play doesn't matter as long as you win

Once you get to ranked: Calibrate with step #1 & once calibrated go back to #3.
